The journey of this home began with a couple's heartfelt desire to be closer to their beloved granddaughters. Leaving behind the tranquil embrace of the countryside, they embarked on a new chapter in the vibrant cityscape of São Paulo. The wife, a landscape architect with a deep reverence for nature, and her husband, an engineer with roots entwined in the rich cultural tapestry of Mexico, sought to recreate the serenity of their former abode.

Their vision was not merely to construct a dwelling, but to weave a tapestry of memories, imbued with the essence of Mexican architecture. The husband's childhood, spent amidst the vibrant colors and textures of Mexico, served as an inspiration for this project. The couple entrusted ARKITITO with the task of encapsulating these memories into a physical form, a home that would echo with the warmth and familiarity of their past.

As one steps into this abode, the senses are immediately enveloped by a symphony of light and shadow. Large windows invite the golden sun to dance across the interiors, casting gentle patterns on the walls that shift and change with the passing hours. The materials chosen speak a language of their own, each surface telling a story of its origin. From the cool, tactile embrace of terracotta tiles underfoot to the rustic charm of exposed wooden beams overhead, every detail has been meticulously curated to evoke a sense of belonging.

The garden, an extension of the home's soul, offers a sanctuary for contemplation and relaxation. Here, the landscape architect's touch is evident, with native flora intertwining with exotic species, creating a verdant tapestry that mirrors the couple's journey from their rural past to their urban present. The gentle rustle of leaves and the soft murmur of a water feature provide a soothing soundtrack to this idyllic retreat.
